Staying Busy
Prepping for the Next Phase Back to School Monday, August 22 through Tuesday, September 6th This is a busier time at work. So, the time went by rather quickly. The first week was a little rough being the first week after chemo, but I have a great support system at work and they make it easier to get through the day to day operations. We were blessed with watching the grand-ferrets for the Labor Day weekend. They are so entertaining. Every picture I took of them was blurry, so these were provided by Robert: Tuesday, August 30th Robert and I met with the surgeon. She is open to whatever I choose to do, but I asked her what her thoughts would be and she said she would seriously consider the lumpectomy. Nothing is a guarantee, but the lumpectomy is so much more less invasive and the recovery time is a lot less. The type of cancer was very rare and with little to no indicators that I am suceptible to breast cancer, it is probably the route to go....
